A Financial Specialist is responsible for providing financial analysis, support to Commercial Departments delivering dashboards for the visibility of their budgeted projects, and review weekly the expenses recorded in the accounting validating that they comply with the established guidelines. Be 100% involved in the activities executed by Bimbo Bakeries. Engage with RGM team for the Trade/Pull Spend budget preparations as well as with Commercial Area/Marketing to understand the investments being made in the market. Responsible for the preparation of Trade and Pull Spend results, and other reports related to operating performance key metrics. Drive continuous improvement in all processes including reporting, planning, and financial modeling and supervising. What Will I Be Doing Ensure that the databases run efficiently and securely. Perform month end closing activities such as Trade and Pull Spend Reconciliations. Prepare finance journal entries and account reconciliations reports. Responsible for Budget Reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations based on their findings. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for senior management which include metrics, information, and graphs. Responsible for Financial Analysis per Region: Develop, maintain, and report KPI dashboards for each Commercial department Request “Accountability” to Commercial Area/Marketing of their Budget. Address financials issues and inquiries in a timely manner and develop corrective financial action plans. Maintain accurate documentation for financial operations and transactions. Prepare budget templates for each department and coordinate plans to develop budget projects by project. Make changes to the budget as requested by Senior Management. Leading Meetings. Assist and participate in Commercial Meetings. Participate in annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors. Recommend corrective financial action plans to Commercial Department/Marketing. Ensure that a company's internal controls and policies are functional and adequate, and that they comply with regulatory rules. Make presentations for management. Year-End closing activities: coordinate the Accruals and follow up. Special Projects as needed. Prepare graphs and tables for executive level presentations as needed. Be a team player that enjoys filling in and helping where they’re needed. Other duties assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent work experience. Financial analysis skills. Proficiency in business management, statistical, analytical, and spreadsheet software Experience with accounting concepts, 2 years’ experience. Availability to travel: Inside the Country 10% and Outside the Country 10%. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication. Detail oriented and process improvement mind set. Analytical problem-solving skills and critical thinking. Ability to work both independently and on team assignments. Self-motivated, able to follow detailed instructions and document results. Proficient with MS Office, particularly in the development of Excel spreadsheet’s ability to work with lookup and pivot tables and Power Bi. A solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage. Possesses good organizational and time management skills. 100% availability for month-end and year-end closing activities.
