Position Overview
Junior Accountant at SkyBridge Luxury & Associates, dynamic finance team at luxurious NYC hotel. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking.
Assist in preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and audit documentation.
Maintain proper accounting records in accordance with company policies and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or lifestyle hotels.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Excel and hotel accounting systems (M3, Opera, BirchStreet, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration within the finance team.
