Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to oversee and enhance the credit performance of both new and existing customer accounts. This role involves analyzing and reviewing accounts and orders to identify potential credit risks and minimize overdue accounts receivable transactions. The Credit Analyst will also foster effective business relationships within various internal departments to resolve customer credit issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
Manage credit research and establish appropriate credit lines using methods such as Dun & Bradstreet, past payment experiences, and internet research. Evaluate credit risk status, credit limits, and terms for active customer accounts and monitor them continuously. Read and interpret contracts to identify customers, end users, and owners, and determine true credit exposure and contractual payment terms. Prepare weekly and monthly high-level Excel reports for management. Assist Credit Admin with building credit files and validating references, and serve as backup when needed. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
4+ years of credit analysis experience. Proficiency in credit analysis, credit risk assessment, and credit collections. High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, reporting, and V-LOOKUP. Experience using Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) required
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is a plus. Experience using Equifax is a plus.
Work Environment
This role is based on-site, transitioning to a more in-office schedule. You will be part of a team that includes one other credit analyst and an admin. The role reports directly to the head of Credit and Collections. The office environment is casual, providing an opportunity for long-term growth and advancement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
