Salary range: $70-90k, depending on experience.

This is a hybrid position. Monday–Wednesday required in office. During peak periods or specific projects, 4–5 days in office may be required.

Responsibilities Job Summary: As a Senior Accountant, you will support various aspects of our accounting management process by playing a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with official guidelines. You will be responsible for assisting with journal entries, account reconciliations, and contributing to the monthly close and reporting cycle. You will also assist with budget preparation, audit preparation, and the development of management reports.

Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Support the Monthly Close and Reporting Cycle including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.

Research and analyze P&L trends and document variance explanations.

Address inquiries and provide explanations regarding financial matters.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Provide backup coverage for daily cash recording.

Support FP&A team in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.

Support annual income tax return preparation for multiple entities.

Participate in preparation for the annual audit.

Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.

Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field.

2+ years accounting experience.

Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel).

Experience with ERP, Payroll, or reporting tools (NetSuite preferred).

Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.

Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.).

Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.

Well‑organized with the ability to prioritize.

Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
