We are seeking a
self-starter Cost Accountant
with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to join our team in the house manufacturing industry. This role is key in managing accurate cost data, supporting operational efficiency, and driving informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) for existing houses
Create BOMs for new house models
Prepare and conduct monthly inventory counts
Work within the
Deacom ERP system
to manage cost data
Produce financial and operational reports for the Accounting team and General Manager as needed
Analyze production costs and inventory valuations
Assist with month-end close processes
Skills & Qualifications:
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of house manufacturing processes
Advanced Excel skills: intricate formulas, pivot tables; macros a plus
Thrives under pressure and tight deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
College degree in Accounting or Business ( or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree )
Experience with Deacom ERP or similar systems preferred
