Our client is seeking a Private Equity Partner to join their growing practice in New York. The team advises limited partners, general partners, alternative asset managers, lenders, management teams, and portfolio companies at every stage of the investment lifecycle. $500,000.00/yr - $1,000,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead and grow the Private Equity practice in New York with a focus on middle-market transactions. Advise clients on the full spectrum of private equity work, including fund formation, buyouts, add-ons, co-investments, minority investments, management incentives, dispositions, and exits. Represent fund sponsors and portfolio companies in acquisitions, investments, co-investments, and strategic exit strategies. Collaborate with colleagues across a global platform to deliver integrated, multi-jurisdictional legal solutions. Provide senior-level attention and strategic problem solving throughout complex transactions. Qualifications
Proven track record as a partner in private equity and M&A, preferably with a focus on middle-market transactions. Demonstrated experience managing complex private equity deals across multiple industries (e.g., consumer goods, healthcare, logistics, energy, technology, real estate, and infrastructure). Strong client development skills with a portable book of business. Deep understanding of fund structures, acquisition finance, co-investments, and exit strategies.
