A dedicated, MLC certified marine and offshore crewing company focusing on offshore crewing, personnel recruitment, and project support, aiming to add value to ship or asset owners. Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the Assistant Engineer is responsible for the preparation, operation, and maintenance of all vessel machinery and systems throughout the voyage. Essential Functions:

Attend to mechanical functions aboard the vessel. Operate machinery such as main engines, auxiliaries, and winches as required. Monitor, maintain, and repair equipment and vessel machinery. Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage fuel, lube, and other fluids essential to equipment operation. Maintain fuel and ballast conditions to ensure trim and stability as directed by the vessel Master. Assist in maintaining safe and efficient operating conditions under the guidance of the Chief Engineer. Perform engine room maintenance, painting, and cleaning to ensure a clean and well-maintained space. Assist on deck as directed by the Master. Qualifications:

Certification:

STCW Endorsements including Officer In Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW), Rating forming part of an Engineering Watch (RFPEW), Proficiency in survival craft (PSC), Advanced Firefighting, and Security Duties. Valid USCG 719k Med Cert (STCW) Valid TWIC Card Valid Driver License Valid Passport (must be able to travel internationally without restrictions) *All qualified candidates must submit the above documents with their application.* Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) or higher. Experience:

Experience as Assistant Engineer aboard ocean-going vessels or relevant offshore vessels. At least 1 year of service as an Engineer. Familiarity with deck machinery, PLC control systems, and maintenance programs. Proficiencies in Word, Excel, Outlook, and maintenance software, with experience in towing vessels, Caterpillar or Wartsila engines, Kongsberg DP systems, and vessel management software preferred. Reporting and Supervision:

Reports to the Chief Engineer and/or Master. May oversee other engineering personnel. Compensation and Travel:

Paid travel (door-to-door). Rotation schedule of up to 30 days, with potential extension. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, odors, dust, hazards, noise, and potentially dangerous equipment. Must meet the 719K physical standard and be able to climb ladders and access restricted areas. Other Requirements:

Must work in a drug-free environment, free from mind-altering substances during working hours.
