Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

The Contracts/ Licensing Specialist will oversee end-to-end, full life-cycle, contract negotiations, drafting, and management to ensure compliance and alignment with business goals. This role is critical for onboarding new clients and handling existing client contract renewals for this busy, privately run, international company.

Responsibilities

Full contract life-cycle, end-to-end, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating new client contracts and contract renewals.

Assist with new client quotations and attend prospective client pitches to provide guidance on contractual terms alongside the internal business development/sales team and other internal stakeholders.

Maintain and update the contract management system for accuracy and accessibility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: handling new client KYC onboarding and working with finance to ensure invoices are issued and handled.

Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms.

Handle contract disputes and work towards timely resolutions.

Qualifications

Ideally 5-10 years experience in full-cycle, end-to-end contract administration and execution, preferably with experience handling licensing agreements.

Strong understanding of contract negotiation, execution, and application in a small-medium size business environment.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations.

Experience working with contract management software or systems.

Attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.

A collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Candidates must be based in Houston, able to work from the client office near Katy on‑site, 8am‑5pm, 5 days per week, and have US work authorization now and indefinitely.
