Contracts Manager

New Houston based Contracts Specialist/ Manager role. Job Description As Contracts Manager/ Contracts Specialist you will: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to meet business and legal requirements. Monitor contract performance to ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions. Handle contract renewals. Provide guidance on contractual risks and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards and assist new clients with basic inquiries/ sign-post them to the technical and customer support teams. Maintain accurate and organized records of all contractual documents. Support the legal team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks. Identify opportunities to improve the contract management process. Ensure timely resolution of contract-related issues or disputes. Candidates must be based in the Houston area and able to work on-site daily from the West Houston office (77079 zipcode) and have US work authorization now and indefinitely. The Successful Applicant The successful Contracts Manager/ Specialist should have: A strong background in contract negotiation, review and management. Proven ability to support with client quotations and tenders, new client contract negotiations, contract renewals and new client on-boarding including Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams in the US, Europe and worldwide. Proficiency in contract management software or related tools. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Familiarity with technology used in the oil, gas, energy and natural resources industry is a plus.
