Provide Tier I & II technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person channels. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and multi-platform system issues. Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN access, and authentication failures. Monitor system logs and network activity to detect and respond to security threats. Implement and maintain cybersecurity tools including firewalls and antivirus solutions. Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and USAFA IT protocols. Perform backups, support disaster recovery, and conduct preventive maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incidents, and inventory. Assist in onboarding, training, and supporting users on new technologies and systems. Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure upgrades and stay current with emerging tech. Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a government, military, or academic setting. CompTIA Network+ or Security+ or equivalent certifications preferred. DoD 8570 compliance certifications a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset. Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and technologies in a dynamic operational setting. Physical Requirements

May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for extended periods. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking; standing or sitting for several hours; climbing in and out of a vehicle and stairs may be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods. Requirements

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for this post. CompTIA A+ required. A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain Tessera’s insurance coverage. Access to a federal military installation requires REAL ID-compliant license or acceptable alternative (e.g., U.S. passport or military ID). Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted. Union Affiliation
