Esteemed The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in IT and a keen eye for detail. The position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. The successful candidate will respond to queries, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. Key Responsibilities Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Exceptional customer service delivery & proven technical troubleshooting via phone/email/chat Active Directory and identity/access management experience (Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2-2019 and Exchange Server 2010-2019) Server Management of domain joined PCs and group policies Strong hardware/software/OS troubleshooting skills (Microsoft Windows 7, 8.x, 10: Mac OS) Microsoft Office 2010-2019 & Office 365 Desktop application user support Small business to mid-sized enterprise connectivity experience (wireless, VPN, firewall, etc) Common technology support tools/product experience (RMM, Anti-SPAM, AV/Malware, etc) Strong documentation skills using CRM/trouble-ticket platform Experience supporting VDI-powered thin/zero endpoints preferred – direct experience VMWare Horizon highly desirable. Basic VMware vSphere knowledge highly preferred Hosted PBX/managed phone system support a plus Requirements/Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role Proficient in Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex IT issues in simple terms
