Job Summary We are seeking a
Patient Services Manager
to lead our Patient Services Team in a 400-bed Regional Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
Key Responsibilities
Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population
Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop around 35 patient service team members
Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences within diet order limitations
Ensure patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
Comply with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting agencies) while adhering to confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies
Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
Qualifications
Associate degree with three (3) years of work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian (preferred)
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in food service management (preferred in an acute care setting)
ServSafe certified (desirable)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record, and diet office systems
Compensation and Benefits Salary:
$60,000–$70,000
