Litigation Attorney
to join its team in
Layton, Utah . The role involves managing personal injury cases through all stages of litigation, from client engagement through trial. Layton, Utah Duties
Handle all aspects of litigation in personal injury cases Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents Manage and conduct depositions Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and insurance companies Draft and respond to discovery Prepare trial notebooks and courtroom exhibits Maintain calendaring, scheduling, and case status tracking File court documents and manage case deadlines Engage in ADR, trial preparation, and court appearances Requirements
Active
Bar license in Utah, Arizona, or Idaho
(required based on location) 1–3 years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation Trial and deposition experience Familiarity with medical billing, records analysis, and damage summaries Knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and ethics rules Experience with legal research tools (Lexis, Westlaw) Ability to travel for depositions, court appearances, or client meetings Demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications
Licensed and in good standing with the
Bar in Utah, Arizona, or Idaho , depending on the position location Skills
Strong legal writing, research, and negotiation skills Effective oral advocacy and courtroom presence High-level organization and attention to detail Proficiency with case management software Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team Bonus/commission package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k)
