The oCOO Data Management team is responsible for providing data and analysis to support evaluation, research, assessment, and strategic planning for management decisions. The team creates data and analytics and enables users throughout the business to create a data-driven culture with an agile mindset enabling business transformation while working to ensure secure data usability, availability and efficiency. Candidates local to the Herndon, VA office are strongly preferred. Responsibilities

Define data architecture to support the business strategy and data modeling development in a cross-functional team. Resolve complex issues proactively and collaborate to address project requirements and reduce delivery risk. Champion data-driven and product-led methodologies to drive growth through insights and usage data for internal and external customers. Participate in process improvement initiatives and propose data-driven solutions to business challenges. Define and implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models with business and application teams. Provide recommendations and support data architecture, master data management, data governance, and data quality initiatives. Ensure reuse of data artifacts and a single source of truth via data architecture and governance. Collaborate with stakeholders to create architectural, requirement, and technical specification documentation; work with SMEs to understand source data. Incorporate stakeholder input into features for analytic development and testing. Define, develop, and support data products including analytics and statistical modeling to develop metrics, reports, and dashboards using SAP technologies (HANA, DataSphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.). Manage data products and governance, controlling access to ensure secure distribution across the SAP NS2 ecosystem. Collaborate with software engineers and cloud developers to develop production analytics. Provide guidance to cross-organization users in developing analytics and data products. Translate stakeholder feedback into enterprise-facing software visualizations. Drive rollout strategy and communications with relevant stakeholders. Support process improvement and automation, and expansion of AI to address business challenges. Required Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to interface with stakeholders speaking different languages. Quick learner, motivated, self-managed, and adaptable to changing priorities. Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise requirements. Knowledge and experience in master data management, metadata management, data modeling, and related tools. Hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (RDBMS, dimensional, ETL, data ingestion). Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts. Experience developing or maintaining data models and analytics related to financial management, sales, cloud operations, customer success and/or technology operations (e.g., SQL, Spark, ETL, Tableau, Power BI). Technical competencies in SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA, ServiceNow. Experience with Databricks, SAP Datasphere, and Collibra is a plus. Understanding of data security requirements for federal contractors (e.g., NIST publications). Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred). 5+ years’ experience in data or database engineering, data science, or related field. Professional certifications or advanced degrees preferred. Active security clearance is a plus. Candidates local to the Herndon, VA office are strongly preferred. Compensation Range Transparency: The targeted combined range for this position is 133700 - 227500 USD. The actual amount will be offered depending on education, skills, experience, scope, location, etc. Any variable incentive is contingent on performance. See SAP North America Benefits for details.
