Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
• Draft and prepare family law pleadings, affidavits, subpoenas, pretrial orders, and motions • Manage discovery and analyze records relevant to family law cases • Conduct legal research to support motions, hearings, and trials • Examine and prepare financial disclosures and statements • Maintain organized and accessible case files • Track and calculate deadlines to ensure timely filings • Meet with clients to gather information, answer procedural question,s and provide excellent service • Communicate fluently in both
English and Spanish
to support a diverse client base • Utilize legal technology and case management systems effectively Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
•
Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience specifically in Family Law
•
Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management • Proactive and independent worker; eager to take initiative • Team-oriented with flexibility and a collaborative mindset • Proficient with law firm tech tools: Microsoft Office, Zoom, VoIP phones, case management software (e.g., Clio), Family Law Software preferred • Comfortable with legal research databases and timekeeping systems • Capable with basic office equipment (scanner, copier, printer) • Must complete a 20 question written interview testing legal knowledge, detail orientation and communication skills
