ProSidian seeks a System Design and Safety Oversight Coordinator (DOE0126125) for program support on a contract contingent/ W-2 basis, generally located across the CONUS with a focus in Richland, Washington. The engagement supports DOE EM Hanford in a regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. We seek System Design and Safety Oversight Coordinator candidates with relevant Environmental Management sector experience to support professional services for DOE and EM sector clients. This role supports the Tank Waste and Waste Treatment programs and may convert to a full-time ProSidian position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a System Design and Safety Oversight Coordinator for Hanford Field Office Environmental Management initiatives, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for DOE-EM/HFO, DOE-EM Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC), Cincinnati, OH, and the Pacific Northwest Region. Tank waste and treatment support drives safe remediation, compliance, and innovation to ensure Hanford cleanup mission success. Responsibilities and Duties
System Design and Safety Oversight Coordinator – Ensure compliance in system design review and coordinate with various teams for efficient operations. Support engineering and project management efforts and facilitate communication among stakeholders at the Hanford Site. Conduct independent system reviews, track issues, coordinate evaluation teams, and report results. Provide services and support for Program Office #06 Assistant Manager for Tank Waste and Waste Treatment (AMTWO/AMWTP) under Job Task #06.10. Perform activities under General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office with support functions for programmatic technical, project controls, and business support. The role is located in the Pacific Northwest (Richland, WA). Initial work site address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, WA 99354. Qualifications
Desired Qualifications 8–12+ years engineering/safety oversight; DOE nuclear preferred. Education / Experience BS Engineering; PE or advanced credentials desirable. 8–12+ years engineering/safety oversight; DOE nuclear preferred. Skills Assist program and project management support in daily business activities and Program Support activities for AMTWO/AMWTP functional area. System engineering, assessments, configuration control. Ancillary Details Of The Roles Publish DOE oversight plans with risk-based prioritization. Functional attributes include system design & safety oversight. Job Tasks span Hanford Field Office GSS with staffing changes possible. Travel: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing. Security: ProSidian personnel shall have a Facility Clearance; DOE clearance may be required for classified work. Place of Performance: Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, WA (on-site with some remote work as approved).
