The PGA Senior Assistant Golf Professional at Cincinnati Country Club will be a true leader in all aspects of the golf operation. He or she will be focused on delivering hospitality at the highest level to the members and their guests. The PGA Senior Assistant Golf Professional is expected to mentor, manage, and work closely with the three Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Shop Merchandiser, Director of Instruction, and Interns.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Head Golf Professional in overseeing all aspects of golf operations, including staff supervision, daily activities, and member interactions.
Provide CCC members and guests with an exceptional experience in the golf operation, specifically the golf shop.
Responsible for scheduling and overseeing the schedule for the Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Shop Manager, Interns and Golf Shop Staff.
Be a mentor to the golf staff.
Oversee and Execute the Driving Range, Golf Learning Center, Cart Fleet & Cart Barn, Staging Area in accordance with the operation policy and procedures. Update policies and procedures when needed.
Manage and Execute All Men’s, Ladies’, Couples’ Events and Leagues.
Manage and Execute All Junior Golf Events & Programs.
Teach and Coach the game of golf to players of all abilities.
Perform Club-Fitting to players of all abilities with knowledge of all club vendors.
Play golf with Members of all skill-levels to generate enthusiasm and interest in the game of golf.
Basic Club Repair.
Leader in golf shop hard goods merchandising (ordering, receiving, inventory, etc) and assist with golf shop soft good merchandising and displays.
Maintain the merchandise office and stockroom in a clean, neat, and presentable manner.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional appearance.
Help build a positive culture and maintain the traditions of the club as defined by the Head Golf Professional.
Any and all other duties as assigned by Head Golf Professional.

5-Day Work Week
Average 45 hours per week (35-40 hours November – February; 40-45 hours October – March/April; 50-55 hours May – September, event weeks may be heavier)
1 Week of Vacation (2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 4 years)

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or college preferred.
Compensation Breakdown
12-Month Position: Total Compensation – Up to $85,000/yr
$58,000 – $62,000 Salary – commensurate with experience
$1,115 – $1,192 per week
Estimated $10,000 – $15,000 in golf lessons ($120/hour); Professional earns 90% of lesson income
Estimated $5,000 – $8,000 in junior golf; Junior Camp, PGA Junior League, Spring/Fall After-School; Professional earns 90% of junior golf income
