Overview The Administrative Assistant performs general administration duties such as record keeping, data entry and scheduling. The position also performs light clerical duties such as copying, faxing, and filing. The Assistant helps with the general operations of the administrative office. The position orders office supplies and provides administrative support for department leadership. The position may assist with major projects related to the initiatives of the department.

Perform general administration duties: record keeping, data entry, scheduling.
Perform light clerical duties: copying, faxing, filing.
Support the general operations of the administrative office.
Order office supplies and provide administrative support for department leadership.
Assist with major projects related to the department's initiatives.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously in person, on the phone, and via e-mail.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency with general office equipment (copy machine, fax machine, printers, etc.).
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 year of administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications
Reception experience
Ability to perform at a high level in an open office environment
Experience with financial reconciliation
Ability to take on and complete tasks with little guidance
