HDR Engineering is seeking an experienced Irrigation Water Engineer to join our Montana team and play a key role in our growing irrigation practice.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the production of project deliverables from planning stages and initial design calculations to final reporting and development of plans and specifications.
Design large civil works projects such as detention facilities, irrigation pumping and conveyance facilities (including diversion and control structures), reservoirs, and other hydraulic structures.
Apply expertise in water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics, drainage, flood control design, and irrigation.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree.
Minimum of 3 years experience in water resources engineering projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
Previous experience in water resources engineering projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, and storm drain system analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits Expected compensation range: $70,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, education and location.
