HDR Engineering is in search of an experienced Irrigation Water Engineer to join our Montana team and be an integral part of our growing irrigation practice. The Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for leading the production of project deliverables from the planning stages and initial design calculations to the final reporting and development of the plans and specs. Focused on large civil works projects such as detention facilities, irrigation pumping and conveyance facilities (including diversion and control structures), reservoirs, and other hydraulic structures. This role supports water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics, drainage, flood control design, and irrigation. Qualifications

Required qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or equivalent field Previous experience in water resources engineering projects Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, storm drain system analysis Excellent oral and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture Preferred qualifications Master\'s degree A minimum of 3 years experience in water resources engineering projects What we believe and commitment

The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $105,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. HDR provides a comprehensive benefits package that promotes employee ownership and well-being, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, paid holidays, 401(k) with employer match, and tuition reimbursement. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles are eligible for limited benefits.) Location and status
