$21.00/hr - $29.00/hr Position Summary
What you’ll do Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; guide and support members regarding self-service technology; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues; and promote the company's products and services. Assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback; training on processes and procedures; guiding member service approaches to resolve issues per company guidelines; ensure compliance with policies; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor using equipment; complete paperwork and logs per company policies. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps; follow forklift, hazardous material handling guidelines; correct and report unsafe conditions to management. Ensure sales floor and merchandise presentation meet policies by handling claims and returns; zoning, stocking, arranging, and cleaning displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; securing fragile and high-shrink items. Monitor product quality, including rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; manage merchandising across area categories and ensure stocking, zoning, and cleaning across all departments. Oversee picking and staging of club pick-up orders; ensure products are selected and staged according to policy. Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and support compliance with policies, procedures, and ethical standards; explain and apply them in business processes; assist management with addressing ethical and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work, understanding customer needs, and ensuring timely, quality results; model adaptability to change and challenges.
