Position Summary What you'll do: Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology; assist members with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns; and promote the company's products and services. Assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area; assign duties; communicate goals and feedback; train associates on processes and procedures; provide direction on member service approaches; ensure issues are resolved according to company guidelines; ensure compliance with policies; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor with appropriate merchandising and documentation. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps; follow forklift and hazardous materials procedures; follow company standard guidelines; report unsafe situations to management. Ensure maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns; zoning, stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise; setting up and cleaning product displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; securing fragile and high-shrink items. Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; manage merchandising areas and stocking across departments. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information; monitor progress and results; identify and address improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; explain and demonstrate how to apply these principles in business processes; support action plans and open-door policy; assist management with addressing ethical issues. Lead and participate in teams by allocating resources, coordinating work, providing feedback, and ensuring timelines and quality; help others adapt to changes or new challenges. Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders; ensure products are selected and staged according to policy. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
