This role is part of the North America Commercial team and reports to the VP, RGM Consumer Fragrances NA. You will be responsible for orchestrating global strategy, managing complex commercial relationships, and driving cross‑functional alignment to deliver superior outcomes for both the customer and IFF.
Base Pay Range $160,000.00/yr – $210,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership : Lead and execute a global account strategy that aligns with the customer’s evolving needs and IFF’s growth ambitions. Lead cross‑functional teams across regions to ensure consistent delivery and strategic alignment. Develop deep understanding of customer’s industry, product portfolio, and market dynamics to proactively identify and qualify growth opportunities.
Commercial Excellence : Drive profitable sales growth through proactive portfolio management, pricing strategy, and margin optimization. Lead negotiations and ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning.
Innovation & Ideation : Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver winning fragrance strategies by leveraging IFF’s proprietary technologies, digital tools, and consumer insights. Champion co‑creation and ideation initiatives that unlock whitespace opportunities and deliver differentiated solutions that anticipate consumer needs and outperform competitive offerings through innovation, insight, and speed to market.
Customer Engagement : Cultivate deep relationships across customer functions including marketing, procurement, R&D, and regulatory. Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
Program Management : Lead high‑impact programs resulting in future sales and profitability growth. Oversee strategic project timelines, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
Team Enablement : Maximize internal team support by identifying critical topics, mobilizing senior leadership, and fostering collaboration across commercial, marketing, CI, technical teams, and other cross‑functional teams. Demonstrate a proven ability to lead and influence in a matrixed, multicultural environment with cross‑regional stakeholders.
Compliance & Resiliency : Navigate regulatory frameworks and supply chain challenges, including resiliency planning and fragrance reformulation strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong command of financial levers including pricing, margin optimization, and forecasting.
Ability to translate commercial insights into actionable strategies.
Sound fragrance knowledge and olfactive skills.
Ability to collaborate closely with perfumers and scent design teams to shape winning fragrance profiles.
Proven ability to lead global teams and manage complex customer relationships.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including some international travel.
High proficiency in digital and project management tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of strategic sales or account management experience, preferably in fragrance industry or relevant consumer goods.

Compensation Compensation (124,300.00 – 177,550.00) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
