Overview
Texas Woman's University (TWU) seeks a Lecturer in Management in the Department of Management & Marketing, beginning August 2025. This is full-time teaching to support the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management and the MBA program. The position may require face-to-face, hybrid and online teaching. Presence is required on the Denton campus to teach and participate in College, Departmental and University meetings and activities. Responsibilities
Teach five undergraduate or graduate courses per semester, delivered in multiple formats. Engage in service activities to support program or College goals, including service to students, the College, the University or the community, as identified and measured in consultation with the department chair or dean. Maintain office hours that meet departmental expectations. Attend regular departmental and college meetings. Deliver hybrid classes as needed on Dallas or Houston campuses (with travel support). Perform other duties as required. Education and Qualifications
The candidate must have at least a Master’s degree in Management or a closely related discipline, plus significant and substantive professional experience. Attendance
The faculty member must deliver courses as scheduled and be physically present for faculty meetings and scheduled university activities. In-person office hours are also required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the discipline and ability to teach various courses within the program as required Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to build and direct student teams, including in an online environment Ability to plan and deliver oral presentations Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment, including university-related software and email Working knowledge of technology and systems used to deliver educational programs to students, such as Canvas, Microsoft Office, Google, etc. College and University Information
