About the Role: ABLE Teacher
Provide a stimulating, safe and healthy learning environment. Conduct academic assessments, provide homework assistance, and plan/implement curriculum instruction as prescribed by funder. Develop learning strategies to meet the varied individual needs of the children. Implement teaching procedures and behavioral strategies. Always ensure engagement in meaningful activities. Provide individual and group instruction to meet the needs of the classroom population. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security SOPs. A teacher’s certificate or letter of eligibility from the Department of Education. Experience teaching students with varying exceptionalities. Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field. Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
