About My Auto Store:
My Auto Store is a fast-paced, customer-focused company in the automotive parts industry, committed to delivering top-quality service and reliable products to our valued clients. We are currently seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be field-based with occasional work at the Camden, NJ office.
Position Overview:
As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with current and prospective customers, promoting our product offerings, and driving revenue growth. You’ll travel regularly to meet with clients, identify sales opportunities, and represent our company in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site visits to existing and potential customers to understand their needs and offer tailored product solutions.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow the pipeline.
Initiate outbound sales calls and respond to inbound inquiries.
Quote available inventory and suggest alternatives when items are out of stock.
Collaborate with operations to manage customer orders, returns, and warranty claims.
Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Provide regular sales performance reports to management.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of sales experience required; experience in the auto parts industry is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM/sales tracking tools.
Self-starter who thrives in a field-based, independent role.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel to customer locations.
Occasional work at our Camden, NJ office.
Flexibility for evening or weekend work as needed.
Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
