Humboldt Golf & Country Club is seeking a motivated, experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomy operations. Our club will be

regrassing all greens with TifEagle Bermuda in Spring 2026 , and we are looking for a candidate with

hands-on experience managing greens renovation projects and grow-ins of hybrid Bermuda putting surfaces . Humboldt Golf & Country Club, located in Humboldt, TN, is an 18-hole private member-owned facility established in 1926. The club has approximately 400 members and is located about 10 miles north of Jackson and Interstate 40. The 6730-yard championship course winds through trees and creeks with elevation changes, offering a view of Western Tennessee farmland. The clubhouse features a banquet room, bar & grill, patio and fire pit, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and a swimming pool. Humboldt Golf & Country Club is home to the Union University Men\'s and Women\'s Golf Teams, and is the founding home of the West Tennessee Junior Golf Association. Humboldt, Tennessee, is a thriving small town in West Tennessee with a low cost of living, restaurants and shops, local boutiques, and a strong community volunteer spirit. Responsibilities

Planning and executing the upcoming greens regrassing and grow-in project Overseeing daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and irrigation systems Managing agronomic programs, budgeting, and staff scheduling Ensuring top playing conditions and course presentation year-round Overseeing the management, development, and performance of the golf course maintenance operations Coordinating the development of operating and capital budgets; monitoring and implementing corrective measures as needed, and reporting status on a monthly basis Providing the highest level of service and interaction with guests to ensure an overall pleasant experience Coordinating with the General Manager and other department heads to ensure that communication of golf course operations is in line with the vision of the Board of Directors Enforcing all rules and regulations governing golf course usage Maintaining and promoting a positive professional image within the community Compensation & Benefits

Prior experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Sports Turf Proven success with hybrid Bermuda greens renovation or grow-in Strong agronomic knowledge and leadership skills Tennessee pesticide license (or ability to obtain) Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills required to interact with members on a regular basis Excellent business management, accounting, and computer skills Minimum of 3+ years of golf management experience Proven record of developing, promoting, and expanding all golf activities Proven record of providing superior member service and staff training and development Strong work ethic This is a year-round position and will begin as soon as possible after the hiring process is complete
