– Lead the Account Management function to grow revenue across Enterprise, Mid-market, and SMB segments. What you’ll do
Develop and coach a team of Account Managers in the enterprise, mid-market and SMB segments and guide them with their sales pipeline, from prospecting to close. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Renewals leadership to drive cross collaboration and process improvements. Help your team build account maps to more effectively up-sell and cross-sell within a set of named accounts. Identify expansion opportunities to meet or exceed expansion revenue targets by understanding customer objectives, defining and executing sales plans, articulating product value, and identifying new personas to drive additional value. Assist large customers in establishing and meeting requirements to enable expansion; participate in large customer QBRs. Review renewals and address obstacles affecting adoption or renewal risk. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure regular outbound campaigns on product updates, webinars, trainings, and related activities. Drive enterprise value with focus on increasing cross-sell product expansion within the larger customer base. Guide the team in managing account issues and escalations related to licensing, contracts, and renewals. What you bring to the role
7+ years of experience in account management and sales with a track record of success. Prior enterprise and mid-market sales and account management experience within a SaaS organization. 3+ years of people management experience. Experience leading a successful sales team, managing a pipeline of named accounts, and accurate forecasting. Strong coaching mindset and ability to elevate others in their career development. Ability to map account whitespace and influence stakeholders to identify and close deals. Exceptional interpersonal skills; clear and concise written and oral communication. Comfortable building rapport, negotiating, and setting expectations with executive-level stakeholders. Comfortable with ambiguity; adaptable in rapidly changing environments and evolving sales processes. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX.
