The Sales Specialist – Immunohistochemistry for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the territory. They will work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations. This position is part of the Sales team and will be fully remote. The vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Sales Manager responsible for a team of sales representatives to exceed Leica Biosystems sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while coordinating with the local assigned team. Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through sales and support assistance and coordinate product demos, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor. Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories. Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies, utilize Strategic Selling tools with mentorship and guidance. Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews). The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience (or equivalent work experience) Proven time management skills Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Travel And Motor Vehicle Record Requirements Ability to travel 50-75%; overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Prior capital sales experience Leica Biosystems offers a comprehensive benefits package and supports flexible, remote working arrangements for eligible roles. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $135,000. This range may be modified in the future. This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
