This role is part of the Commercial Organization and reports to the Sales Manager to exceed Leica Biosystems sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies. The position is fully remote.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $135,000. This is the range we believe at the time of posting. The role is eligible for a bonus/incentive pay. Leica Biosystems offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and health/dental/vision insurance. This position is eligible for remote work arrangements for eligible roles. Responsibilities
The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory, coordinating with the local team and maintaining accurate opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.
Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales and support, coordinating product demos, installs, and customer training with support from a manager or mentor.
Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.
Monitor competitive activities and strategies, and utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance.
Develop on products and tools (DBS, LBS Tools such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).
Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales experience (or equivalent)
Proven time management skills
Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, including selling in a matrixed environment
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Travel and Driving
Ability to travel 50-75%; overnight for territory coverage and/or company meetings
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Experience
Prior capital sales experience
