Commercial / Mid-Market Account Executive
who enjoys SaaS sales and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy working collaboratively, and are ambitious and hardworking, we want to hear from you!
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA office. Our hybrid work model offers remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week.
Please note that the compensation listed does not include commission (50/50 split) or RSU value.
Technologies You’ll Use

What You’ll Do
Conduct daily outbound prospecting to Target Account lists to create demand and generate pipeline.
Collaborate with your Partner network to generate referrals, co-sell opportunities, and expand Fivetran’s use across the partner portfolio.
Manage the entire sales cycle with precision, including detailed discovery, product demonstrations, executive alignment, and driving business outcomes.
Become an expert in Fivetran’s technology, market, and value proposition.
Execute campaigns to drive customer adoption and expand usage within your accounts in the first 6 months.
Forecast and articulate opportunities weekly using MEDDPICC and Command of the Message methodologies.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to provide feedback and ideas.
Adapt to a fast-moving environment with significant change.
Skills We’re Looking For
Experience in a closing sales role.
Experience in Business Development, crucial for success as an AE at Fivetran.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
Excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
A customer-centric approach passionate about deriving value from data.
Ability to convey technical principles in a consultative manner.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Bonus Skills Familiarity with the modern data technology industry and key players.
Additional Details The pay range for this role in Oakland is $88,992—$111,240 USD, determined by role, level, and location. Compensation includes base salary, commissions, and RSUs, with individual pay influenced by skills, experience, and market factors.
