Role Summary

The Account Manager, Pro Sales is the key point person for day-to-day management and strategic planning for all BSG, Salon Centric, State Beauty Supply, and Armstrong McCall needs. This role collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional support to distributors. Reporting to Sr. Manager, BSG, this role drives profitability and productivity by utilizing pro distribution expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

Build best-in-class, collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, sales reps, store management, and owners at BSG, Salon Centric, State Beauty Supply, and Armstrong McCall Develop and execute growth-focused strategies for the brand and distributors aligned with company goals Advocate for distributors by educating cross-functional teams on what works and how to deliver unparalleled support Lead all meetings for assigned accounts (virtual and in-person); come prepared and professional Provide weekly high-level business recaps highlighting key metrics to tell the state of your accounts Work with Trade Marketing to ensure timely Visual Merchandising updates Collaborate with internal teams to develop omni-channel sell-out strategies that drive revenue Identify and negotiate brand growth opportunities within distributors (marketing levers, secondary placements, sampling, gratis, promotions) Collaborate with Trade Marketing on visual merchandising, sampling, and retailer marketing needs Monitor, manage, and optimize performance; analyze results vs. plans and adjust strategy to achieve goals Identify sell-in opportunities by analyzing sell-through Partner with Planning on AOP sales projections, forecasting, promotions, and account opportunities Monitor budget, stay within budget, and present ROI on investments Collaborate with Trade Marketing to present 360 launch strategies for product launches Own all communication with Merchant teams Review, analyze, and report on campaigns and spend within assigned accounts (sampling, promos, secondary placement) Partner with Head of Sales on budget building and promotional strategies Strategic spending on approved retailer marketing and promotions; document and ensure alignment with revenue/profitability targets Collaborate with Field Sales and Education teams to drive sell-through with field and event levers Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

3-5 years of relevant beauty experience Exceptional analytical skills; ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies MS Office Suite, especially Excel Team player with a positive, can-do attitude Customer-centric to assigned accounts Strong project management skills and ability to deliver outcomes within timelines Ability to excel in a remote work environment with minimal supervision Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail Willingness to travel weekends as needed Valid Driver's License Ability to travel by air for training and meetings at least 1-2 times per year Up to 20% travel for retailer meetings, events, and internal offsites

Compensation: We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Actual salaries vary based on location, experience, skills, and internal parity. The range is one component of Wella Company’s total rewards package, which may include an annual bonus or variable pay. Benefits include health, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and PTO.
