Overview
Outside Sales Representative role at Georgia-Pacific LLC (Corrugated Packaging division). The Account Manager will grow the custom corrugated box business in the Northeast, identify and secure new opportunities, and grow relationships with existing customers. You will have the autonomy to operate as a business owner within your territory, backed by GP’s products and resources. What You Will Do
Own your territory with a hunter’s mindset to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities. Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging your network. Drive sales growth by providing innovative, customized packaging solutions to customers. Analyze market conditions and customer needs to create winning sales strategies. Lead customer projects from ideation to delivery, ensuring satisfaction at every step. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and optimal service. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to stay ahead. Deliver dynamic and impactful presentations and proposals that win business. Qualifications
Demonstrated success in B2B sales, business development, or account management, with a proven ability to close new business. Corrugated industry experience in lieu of sales experience is considered. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build relationships and trust. A competitive drive and entrepreneurial spirit to achieve and exceed sales targets. Willingness to travel up to 50%, with a valid US driver’s license. Preferred / Advantageous
Prior experience in corrugated packaging, printing, or converting industries. Bachelor’s degree or technical training related to manufacturing or supply chain trends. Ability to blend technical knowledge with creative problem solving to deliver customized solutions. Compensation and Location
Base salary range: $95,000 – $140,000, depending on experience, with performance-based incentives. Company vehicle provided. Location: Home-based; candidate must live within 75 miles of Buffalo, NY or Rochester, NY. Travel: Approximately 50% (primarily day travel with occasional overnights). Additional Information
