Databricks is seeking a
Strategic Financial Services Account Executive - Hunter
to sell to high-growth Financial Services accounts. You will operate on a greenfield patch, responsible for closing net new logos, and work to compress decision cycles by understanding the product in depth and communicating its value to customers. You will be able to close exciting deals and may have accelerators above 100% quota achievement. Responsibilities
Influence the data strategy of leading, disruptive companies. Communicate account strategy to Databricks Senior Leadership on a regular basis. Allocate Databricks resources to penetrate new accounts and grow existing ones. Meet with executives from C-Level to Practitioner levels to understand how Databricks can impact business outcomes. Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Use a creative, fail-fast approach to selling and creating customer value. Build plans for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts. What We Look For
Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud. 5+ years of experience with Open Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making. 5–10 years of experience with Value Selling Methodologies. Creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion. Sales experience within big data, cloud, or SaaS sales. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. Grit, tenacity, and enthusiasm for breaking into greenfield accounts. Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role represents expected base salary or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation is based on factors including job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, training, and location. The total package may include annual performance bonus, equity, and listed benefits. For location-specific ranges, refer to the company page.
