Account Manager

on our team, you will be responsible for managing an existing customer base, growing the existing customer base, and for new business account acquisition within a defined market/territory. Location:

This is an in-office position, meaning that you are to report out of the office every day of the week. What’s in it for you? Account Managers are targeted to make

$68,580+

per year (Base + Commission). Responsibilities

Manage existing account base by regularly contacting accounts (via phone and in person), acting as their resource for sales negotiations, and meeting or exceeding sales and revenue growth goals. Actively manage the existing base to retain customers and reduce market churn. Provide education on the industry, technology and TDS products and services. Focus on market share growth by prospecting and selling new businesses. Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through a combination of telephone and in-person cold calls, networking, and referrals to obtain appointments. Build customer solutions, propose, and close sales to meet or exceed sales and revenue growth goals. Create proposals, write, and submit accurate and timely new orders following the established sales process. Manage and submit MACD (moves, adds, changes and deletions) to the existing customer base. Develop a tactical sales plan for prospecting, customer growth and retention plans to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Maintain accurate activity tracking, customer status and forecasts utilizing the CRM system for all prospects and existing customers. Report activity and monitor progress on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Attend industry and trade group meetings and local events to increase corporate visibility, identify business opportunities, and develop industry contacts. Maintain relations with contacts and lead sources. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

2+ years of customer service experience 2+ years of inside or outside sales experience Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation Other Qualifications

Experience in successful prospecting and generating leads through cold calling Access to cell phone Previous Telecommunications experience Winning “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic with a track record of success Ability to set goals and implement a plan to achieve them Well organized with good time management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail Customer service orientation and willingness to help internal and external customers Comprehensive product and application knowledge to provide quality problem resolution Competitive drive and strong sales process knowledge Ability to analyze problems, gather data, and make decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with customers at C-level and other management levels Empathy to quickly ease customer concerns Ability to learn quickly and continue to learn Ability to work independently or collaboratively Must maintain satisfactory sales quotas Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email, Internet) We encourage you to apply if you meet the Required Qualifications and believe you have the potential to thrive in this role. Final offers depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and role-specific competencies. With uncapped commission incentives, earning potential is unlimited. Pay Range (Hr./Yr.): $62,200.00/Yr. - $101,000.00/Yr.
