Job Announcement: Guest Services Clerk at Gold Rush Inn
This announcement is in conjunction with the Nonappropriated Fund On-the-Spot Interview events to be held in May, June, and July at the Civilian Personnel Office Conference Room in Amber Hall, 354 Broadway Ave, Suite 207, Eielson AFB, AK 99702.
Gold Rush Inn Mission:
Support combat-ready and strategic Arctic airpower! Join our prestigious team with over 100 rooms and more than 7 million dollars of annual revenue, providing world-class hospitality.
Requirements:
Incumbent must be 21+ years of age.
Responsibilities:
Receive and confirm room reservations via letter, telephone, email, or personal contact.
Register guests, assign rooms, issue keys, and escort guests as needed.
Ensure only authorized patrons use government-sponsored quarters.
Calculate, post charges, and balance accounts; accept payments, make change, and prepare checkout statements.
Prepare and safeguard cash receipts; generate daily reports.
Maintain current checkout list and sell sundry items.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Ensure accurate guest information entry and update housekeeping status.
Report maintenance issues and keep the front desk area clean.
Perform Night Audit procedures and close credit card machines nightly.
Maintain the lost and found program and prioritize customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
Meet state and legal age requirements for sale of alcoholic beverages.

Relevant experience includes:
General clerical or cashier work demonstrating multitasking and customer service skills.
