A well-established veterinary hospital in Laurinburg, NC is seeking a
Lead Veterinarian
to serve as the medical leader of the practice. Over 40 years of service to families and pets across Scotland County Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the clinical team and hospital leadership to maintain quality medical care Support scheduling and staffing needs with the practice manager Build strong client relationships and represent the hospital in the community Mentor and develop support staff through training programs Manage diverse caseloads of appointments and surgeries Ensure compliance with state veterinary requirements and hospital permits Serve as the veterinarian of record for the practice Qualifications: DVM/VMD degree (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE equivalency program) Active North Carolina veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain) Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary with optional Pro-Sal and no negative accrual Attractive sign-on bonus options Paid CE days and annual CE allowance Coverage of professional dues, licenses, and PLIT liability insurance Discounted veterinary care for multiple personal pets Comprehensive health packages and 401(k) retirement match Three weeks PTO, paid holidays, and six weeks paid parental leave (for both parents) Additional annual work/life balance day Access to mentorship, peer collaboration platforms, and surgical training opportunities To apply, please send your resume to
