Lead Veterinarian – Laurinburg, NC
A growing small animal practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Veterinarian to guide a skilled clinical team and support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role provides the chance to mentor colleagues, oversee medical operations, and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff
Provide oversight for patient care, including medical and surgical cases
Support operational goals and assist with workflow and staffing coordination
Foster professional development and mentorship among team members
Build strong relationships with clients and the broader community
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)
Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state
Strong clinical and leadership skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentoring abilities
