Overview
You will be the Mechanical Engineering Designer for the Air Dominance Evolutionary Development Block 1.1 Program team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing detailed designs and layouts of missile structures and subassemblies, driving innovation and excellence in the field. What You Will Be Doing
As the Mechanical Engineering Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the AF&E IPT in creating detailed designs, layouts, and drawings for various components and subassemblies. You will play a key role in developing and generating CREO layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, AURs, and integration test articles Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM Coordinating with the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence Managing drawing releases, answering CRs, generating CNs, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, and structural/thermal benefits Why Join Us

Bachelor’s degree
from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering field or related discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree; or no experience required with a related PhD. Knowledge of GD&T
in accordance with ASME Y14.5. Experience creating drawings
in accordance with ASME Y14.100 standards. Skilled at creating/releasing CAD
parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings via Creo/Windchill. Active DoD Secret Clearance . Desired Skills
Desired
capabilities include: Capable of performing in an inclusive, fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Strong technical foundation and ability to grasp complex issues quickly. Previous Lockheed Martin and/or Missile program experience is a plus. Ability to support limited travel as necessary. Security Clearance Statement:
