JOB SUMMARY The Campus Production Manager - Southside will serve as the production director at his/her assigned satellite campus. In addition to overseeing any production staff on site, they will also recruit, develop, and lead a team of volunteers to facilitate weekly gatherings. As needed, the campus production manager will also assist with gatherings and events at the central campus. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible for overseeing services and events at their respective campus. Responsible for upholding the expected standard of excellence for audio, lighting, and broadcast. Responsible for overseeing services and events, ensuring consistent levels of production quality and ministry support. Organize the efforts of the staff and volunteer production team to ensure successful, engaging worship gatherings with minimal distractions. Maintain knowledge of AVL systems, processes, and personnel required to execute a world-class weekend experience, as well as online streaming content. Ensure that all equipment is maintained and adequately tested before services and events. Coordinate with Central campus staff for needed equipment repairs, maintenance, rentals, and purchases. Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management. Load weekly graphics slides, videos, and other assets, and ensure the weekend team is updated on service flow. Meet with the weekend service planning team and ministry leads to ensure the production team is informed and prepared for gatherings and events. Oversee and/or participate in regular volunteer training to equip volunteers vital to our success (training includes, but is not limited to: setup/teardown of stage and production equipment, operation of ProPresenter, lighting equipment, and musical instruments). Assist with film projects. Transport and organize equipment. Attend and/or facilitate planning meetings. Coordinate with other CBC ministries to support their events. Other duties as assigned. COMPETENCIES Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written). Excellent event producer with a clear big-picture view. Ability to maintain professional relationships. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems. Intermediate computer skills with applications such as Ableton, ProPresenter, PVP. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently, multitask, and produce results in a high-stress environment. Experience developing staff and volunteers. Thoughtful leader who aligns decisions with the organization's vision and values. Working knowledge of Avid and Midas audio consoles, GrandMA and Jands lighting consoles. Creative, forward-thinking, and aware of current trends in production. POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Days and hours are scheduled any time Monday through Sunday. Working weekends and evenings are required. Primarily located at the Southside Campus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Good or corrected vision, effective peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Good manual dexterity and ability to use repetitive motions of hands and arms. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to move about inside the office and storage rooms, handling equipment up to 90 lbs. Effective communication in both written and verbal forms. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. One year of production staff leadership preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT Duties are performed in various settings including outside, office, and technical environments, which may be fast-paced and hectic at times. Ability to handle job-related anxieties and manage multiple projects is essential. Environmental noise levels are minimal.
