Implements, analyzes, supports, integrates, and maintains applications, databases, and data flows of informatics data, with focus on electronic data capture and survey platforms, cohort discovery tools, virtualization platforms, and other analytics software. Collaborates with users to identify technical and business requirements to solve complex problems. Analyzes and develops informatics system documentation. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. May be responsible for multiple projects or multiple phases of a project. May instruct and direct other applications systems analysis and programming personnel. May have quality assurance review responsibilities.## Education & Experience**Education and Experience Required:**Bachelor's degree and five (5) years information systems or data analytics.
**Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:**Epic certification or accreditation in one of the following data models: Clinical Data Model, Access Data Model or Revenue Data Model. If not Epic certified or accredited, must obtain Epic certification or accreditation post-hire within 6 months.An Epic assessment will be given to those candidates who pass the initial review step of the interview process.**Preferred Qualifications:**Information systems experience in healthcare preferred.## Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**Knowledge of information systems, analysis, and programming. Knowledge of system features and integration capabilities. Knowledge of relational database systems, SQL, java and web application development. Verbal and written communication skills. **Responsibilities*** Supports data management and analysis, monitors data quality and validation of analytical results, and implements new and improved standards and methods for data analysis and visualization.
