Telos Health Systems staffs Attending Physician, Facility Level, to improve residents’ quality of life and overall well-being while simultaneously reducing return to hospital stays.
Job Description An Attending Physician, Facility Level is responsible for providing medical care to patients in a healthcare facility. They work closely with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions. They also provide guidance and supervision to other medical staff, including residents and interns.
Key Responsibilities Provide medical care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans Supervise and provide guidance to other medical staff, including residents, etc. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Stay current with advances in medical technology and treatment options Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Skills and Qualifications Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Clear, Active, Unencumbered medical license in the State of North Carolina Experience working as a physician in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Attention to detail and accuracy Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Must have an active license and DEA # Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Minimum one-year experience in a Skilled Nursing setting (preferred) Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting
Pay and Schedule Pay per encounter rates, 1099 or W2 option. Minimum commitment is just 2 days a week - you can pick the days!
