OUR TOP FIELD SUPERVISORS EARN UP TO $24 HOURLY + BENEFITS & PTO The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for supervising the field operations teams (GDI and subcontractors). This includes reviewing project schedules, training new installers and/or subcontractors, monitoring work progress, expenses, field measures, permits, assisting crews with job start/finish, completing service calls, and meeting with customers to review complex jobs. Responsibilities
Maintain branch quality standards Measure jobs Check jobs for potential installation issues before start Review concerns with Installation Supervisor and Regional Operations Manager Review contracts with customers Diagnose and/or perform service work Install jobs as needed Employee and subcontractor training Ensure crews are informed of job details and loaded with proper materials and equipment Oversee Lead Installers and Apprentices, training them on proper procedures Obtain building permits as required Review schedule with Installation Supervisor Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Applicant must have at least 10 years of experience in construction field operations, focusing on sunrooms, doors, and windows. Must understand all product lines and be capable of diagnosing and resolving service issues. Strong problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency with technology, good organization, and quick thinking are required. The candidate should be proactive in managing customer, employee, and subcontractor interactions, aligning with company expectations, and delivering mutually beneficial solutions. Performance Expectations: Achieve revenue projections for the branch Maintain 90% or higher branch quality score within 90 days Meet project timelines as per GDI budgeting Achieve customer service survey scores of 90% or better Complete training milestones: Apprentice to Installer: within 3 months of hire Installer to Lead Installer: within 9 months of hire Subcontractor for installation: within 3 months of hire Achieve 30% online reviews for installed jobs GDI is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer #INDGDIOP
