Lab Manager II
Description:
Solutions³ LLC supports our prime contractor and their U.S. Government customer in providing onsite incident response support to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners facing cyber-attacks. This involves immediate investigation and resolution.
We are seeking a
Lab Manager II
to support this mission by performing breach investigations, developing mitigation plans, and assisting with service restoration.
Eligibility:
Must be a
US Citizen
Must hold an
active Secret
clearance with the ability to obtain
TS/SCI
Must obtain DHS Suitability
prior to
employment
2+ years
of relevant experience in system administration
Responsibilities Include:
Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at tactical levels to implement infrastructure solutions supporting command decision-making and mission execution.
Supporting the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.
Assessing network topology and device configurations to identify security concerns and recommend best practices.
Advising on development of lab SOPs and policies.
Supporting VPN or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Citrix) for users.
Providing support for MacOS and iOS to users.
Troubleshooting and triaging technical challenges and user issues.
Monitoring and responding to IT helpdesk inquiries via channels and phone.
Managing user accounts and resetting credentials.
Implementing granular access controls, monitoring system performance and security, establishing backups.
Resolving storage-related problems across networks and monitoring storage systems.
Required Skills:
Experience with Linux/Unix & MacOS operating systems.
Knowledge of networking and network administration.
Experience with VPNs.
Experience with virtual desktops (Citrix, VMWare).
Ability to work collaboratively across locations.
Desired Skills:
Experience with SIEMs like ELK and Splunk.
Virtualization automation and optimization.
Experience with Jamf Pro, DEP, and Enterprise Connect.
Writing technical procedures and SOPs.
Desired Certifications:
CEH, Sec+, Network+, CCNA
Required Education:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related; or HS Diploma with 4+ years of lab management or sysadmin experience.
