Chemistry and Biochemistry Overload/Adjunct 2025-2026 – The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry is accepting expressions of interest for overload faculty or adjunct faculty to teach various courses during fall, winter, spring and summer quarters. Courses include but are not limited to: General Chemistry I and II. Chemistry of the Elements. Organic Chemistry I, II and III. Science of Contemporary Issues I, II and III. Statements of interest for winter and spring quarters should be submitted at least one month prior to the start of the quarter. Required Qualifications

Adjunct faculty are compensated at the rate of $4,952 to $6,189 per course. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidateamily status.
