We are currently seeking skilled professionals to support a premier aerospace medical research division in forensic sciences and toxicology. Position Overview:

The Biological Laboratory Technician will support forensic and toxicology operations by processing biological specimens, maintaining accurate records, assisting with research, and contributing to the laboratory’s accreditation processes. This role is essential for ensuring efficient and reliable laboratory operations. Location: Oklahoma City, OK. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Federal Holidays are off. Key Responsibilities:

Process incoming toxicology specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples

Prepare biological samples for toxicological analyses

Perform data entry for toxicology batches and cases

Generate toxicology reports for review and signature

Mail out toxicology reports to appropriate recipients

Maintain and organize toxicology case files

Scan batch and case paperwork for electronic storage

Assist chemists and toxicologists with daily operations and research projects

Participate in the laboratory’s accreditation process

Prepare toxicology paperwork for FOIA requests

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate’s degree or higher with coursework in Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field

Experience: 3+ years of related experience with an Associate’s degree

No experience required with a Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience handling biological specimens in a laboratory environment

Proficiency with data entry and record-keeping systems

Ability to work collaboratively with chemists, toxicologists, and other team members
