The Production Supervisor directs and supervises activities of a production team and shift/department, with multiple direct reports. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience leading in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards are achieved while meeting waste reduction and sustainability goals. This role also fosters a culture based on integrity, customer focus, innovation, and collaboration to attract, develop, and retain top talent. The Production Supervisor is responsible for all people leadership and management aspects of the department, including interviewing and selection of talent and all components of performance management. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Drive company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating the flow of production. Effectively manage labor to meet plant productivity and cost goals by coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequence. Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot to develop solutions. Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, and communicate them to employees to ensure alignment. Create, train, monitor, and evaluate the team on safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. Train and maintain knowledge of all existing and new production equipment; create and review training documentation to ensure accuracy. Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery and provide solutions for continuous improvement. Accurately record, communicate, and maintain required documentation in a timely manner. Analyze and submit daily reporting on performance and progress related to production, quality, safety, staffing, and maintenance duties. Own all KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded; implement process changes to minimize waste and meet customer requirements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide problem solving for departmental issues. Adhere to and enforce the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and PPE requirements. Assure quality and accuracy of production standards and promptly report quality defects to the appropriate team members. Enable team members to meet or exceed production rates, minimize waste, and meet customer requirements. Ensure production reporting data is entered into ERP and communicated to the next shift. Attend meetings and safety trainings as required and hold the team accountable to do the same. Provide direct supervision of production team members including employee relations issues, corrective action, performance management, merit/compensation recommendations, hiring, and terminations. Provide regular performance feedback (e.g., 30/60/90 check-ins, progressive discipline, performance management). Strong analytical skills and exposure to moving equipment. Note: Humidity may exceed 80%. Physical Characteristics

Frequent standing, bending, and manual tasks; up to 75% of work time. Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. Frequent typing and documentation; may involve voice-assisted tasks as needed. Position Type

Full time Work outside of normal hours as needed for business demands. Leaders may be required to work off-shift and weekends based on business need. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field. High School diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong background in manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; some knowledge of Word/PowerPoint. Compensation

The listed annual base pay range is based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay may vary based on performance, proficiency, and demonstrated competencies. The hourly base pay range is estimated to be 75,000–90,000. Compensation details listed in US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits.
