The Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying advanced electronic warfare systems and technologies. This position requires expertise in RF (radio frequency) systems, signal processing, and electromagnetic spectrum management to support defense and security operations. The EW Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions that enhance the effectiveness of military operations in contested electromagnetic environments. Responsibilities

System Design and Development: Perform trade studies, modeling and simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements Design and develop electronic warfare systems, including jammers, radar systems, situational awareness and communication systems Develop hardware and software architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms Assess EW specific risks and develop a mitigation plan Signal Processing: Analyze and process RF data to assess threat and communication information in the electromagnetic spectrum Develop algorithms for signal detection, classification, and countermeasure deployment Develop data analysis and presentation methods and tools to provide actionable information to the user Testing and Validation: Develop test plans, procedures, and reports for system verification and validation including environment and propagation effects. Conduct laboratory and field testing of EW systems to ensure performance and reliability Spectrum Management: Analyze and manage electromagnetic spectrum usage to optimize system performance in congested and/or contested environments Ensure compliance with spectrum regulations and policies Threat Analysis: Assess emerging threats in electronic warfare, radar systems, communication systems, and unmanned platforms Develop countermeasure strategies to mitigate threats Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with government agencies and military stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate EW systems into larger platforms (e.g., aircraft, ships, ground vehicles) Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, design reports, and user manuals Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external stakeholders Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field Experience: 3+ years of experience in electronic warfare, RF systems, or related fields Experience with EW system design, signal processing, or electromagnetic spectrum analysis Technical Skills: Proficiency in modeling tools for RF engineering and signal processing (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW or similar) Familiar with laboratory tools including oscilloscope, signal and spectrum analyzer, SDR and RF Analyzer SW Knowledge of radar systems, communication systems, directed energy and electronic warfare modules Familiarity with high level software programming languages for algorithm development Security Clearance: Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication and technical writing skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering or related science/engineering discipline Knowledge of military, defense, and national security systems Familiarity with DoD standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD, FAR/DFARS) Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and interference mitigation techniques Experience with HW/SW/FW development

Proficient in board-to-system level architecture Experienced with VHDL design/synthesis/analysis tools
