The Work We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) RF Engineer to join our team. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry‑leading design professionals and contribute to groundbreaking projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, testing, and troubleshooting of Radio Frequency (RF) hardware.
Prepare and implement test methods and specifications, analyzing and testing RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
Provide input to product development for formal documentation and support manufacturing as required.
Perform RF analyses, including co‑site and Jamming-to‑Signal Ratio (J/S) studies.
Develop and design RF system and subsystem architectures, comprising antennas, transmitters, receivers, low‑noise amplifiers, high‑power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission equipment.
Who You Are To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM discipline.
Experience with integration of digital and analog Electronic Warfare, radar, and/or communication systems.
Proficient with RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Experience with MATLAB, C++, and/or Python.
Ability to obtain a US government security clearance.
Desired Skills
Experience with Electronic Support (ES) and/or Electronic Attack (EA) development and integration.
Understanding of I/Q (in‑phase and quadrature) processing and generation.
Experience developing and performing RF chamber test plans and procedures.
Experience leading a team of engineers.
Experience with software or firmware development.
Secret investigation within 5 years or Top Secret clearance.
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
Location The Owego campus in the Finger Lakes region offers natural beauty, cultural attractions, and a low cost of living. The campus is a thriving center of engineering expertise.
Work Schedule 4‑10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Pay Rate Annual base salary range: $97,100 – $171,235 in California, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC. For other states, the range reflects the candidate's final work location.
