Committed to preserving and enhancing the visual and environmental character of the places and communities where we work. As a Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in designing and planning outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts and plans for various parks, streetscapes, trails and other projects. Conducting site analysis and assessments to understand environmental, social, and cultural factors that influence design decisions. Creating detailed site plans, master plans, and construction documents using industry-standard software and tools. Designing parks and trails that promote recreational activities, conservation of natural resources, and community engagement. Developing streetscapes and urban designs that enhance pedestrian experience, promote sustainable transportation, and improve urban aesthetics. Planning and designing residential and commercial sites, including site layout, grading, planting plans, and hardscape elements. Managing projects from concept development through construction administration, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Conducting research and staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and sustainable design principles. Participating in client meetings, presentations, and public outreach activities to communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
Qualifications Bachelor or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect. 5-25 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on the project types mentioned above. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong design, graphic visualization, and communication skills. Knowledge of sustainable design practices, stormwater management, and plant materials. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management abilities. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for creating impactful landscapes.
